Custom area carpets are sized perfectly for each space and provide more design options. There are many styles, patterns, color and design options to choose from as you now open up this important design decision to all broadloom carpet selections. Traditional, transitional or modern selections are available when you choose to design custom area carpets, including very durable commercial carpet options. Solid color plush, textured or patterned broadloom carpets make beautiful area rugs when bordered or edge bound with or without fringe detailing for modern designs. Traditional and transitional patterned broadloom selections add design character as well as hide dirt better than solid colors. They may be used on their own or bordered with solid colors and/or fabric insets providing a finished look. In the photos you will see we generally use a small inside piping border with the main accent color and then a neutral solid color outside border to transition nicely with the wood floors. Many manufacturers have broadloom selections available with coordinating borders for use to create carpets sized to your exact dimensions and provide the look of a hand-made Persian, Oriental or English traditional designs.
Custom carpets are sized to the inch fitting the room perfectly providing balance and harmony of the spaces in a way no other design material can. Enhancements include cut off corners, asymmetrical shapes, matching patterned or coordinating solid color borders. Custom staircase runners and matching Foyer area carpets with added fringe detail add a distinct, rich coordinated look to complement any color and design scheme.
